Married at Byron Bay, NSW

Jasmine and Ben planned the most beautiful Byron Bay beach wedding ceremony at Clarkes Beach.

Kind Words
“We loved how hands on, invested, organised and thoughtful Ann was from day 1 through to post-wedding (even helping to follow up name change info – what an angel!). In terms of the ceremony, the extra time Ann put in made for the most perfect and natural event that was just so ‘us’. It flowed smoothly thanks to Ann dotting every i and crossing every t prior to the big day. Ann’s calm demeanour and gentle nature came through in her words and our guests commented on how it was the best ceremony they had been a part of (we thought the same but then again we might be biased since it was our wedding!).
We can not recommend nor thank Ann from Ceremona enough. Our ceremony was just as we had dreamt and this is attributable to Ann for thinking of and helping to organise absolutely everything. We particularly loved how she reached out to loved ones (after checking with us) to get some stories and words, which she integrated seamlessly into our ceremony. We feel like we struck gold finding Ann and having her as part of our special day. If you want someone who is organised, well spoken and will personalise your ceremony however you like (providing guidance along the way), Ann is the perfect fit for you!
Love, Jasmine and Ben x”

Byron Bay Beach Wedding
I helped this gorgeous pair marry last Spring on Bundjalung Country under the protection of Cape Byron at Clarkes Beach. It was the most perfect setting for a Byron Bay beach wedding ceremony. The beach is their happy place together. Because Jas and Ben both have family connections to the Bay, this location was their natural choice. As a result, we all felt so grounded, being barefoot on the sand and breathing in the fresh ocean air. Despite light rain all morning, getting married indoors was never going to be an option for these two beach loving nature enthusiasts.

Ben kept an eye on the weather all day leading up to the ceremony while the wedding party was getting ready. Due to his vigilance, he made the final call in the early afternoon to hold it on Clarkes Beach as planned. It was perfectly timed – the drizzle stopped just before their guests arrived, held off all through the ceremony and started up again once it was finished. The feeling during the ceremony was total calm. There was no wind, soft waves rolled in and beautiful diffused light created the most perfect atmosphere for the ritual of a lifetime. Outdoor weddings are my absolute favourite. Find out more about my favourite things here.

Finally, to say that Ben and Jas are inspiring humans is an understatement. They have completed Iron Man competitions together, juggle athletic pursuits with busy careers, making time for family, fur baby parenting and renovating their old Queenslander. Above all, they are also some of the most chill, easy going and kind hearted people you will ever meet. I feel so fortunate to have guided them through this life event. I can’t wait to follow along as they embark on new adventures!
